John Bird To Judge Think Act Vote Poetry Competition

As you know Think Act Vote launched a poetry competition to write something on the theme of “The Future I Choose” The deadline is 11.30pm Monday May 3rd, so you better get writing….

John Bird, Founder of the Big Issue has agreed to Judge the poetry competition and print the winner in the magazine (The shortlist will be printed in our book)

To mark this occasion, he wrote us a poem of support for the campaign:

Never been one to be fashionable.

Never been one to follow a trend.

Never been one to join causes.

But always find myself there in the end.

This cause, Is worthy, Of my Complete Applause.

So don’t you Just stay Indoors.

This campaign Should be Overflowing With Champagne.

So let your Support Just rain And rain.
