Sonia Ali’s Future:
The Future I choose is a global world with freedom of movement, and representation beyond the nation-state as citizen. Moving beyond standing armies.

My inspiration came from the idea of how armies marching in columns and planes flying in formation is in complete opposition to the organic movements of people who are free to express themselves and birds swooping and diving in the sky. I tried to illustrate this contrast through colour and form.
