Sarah Rosalind Kendal is an intellectual writer and photographer, working and living in London. Her experience includes film production, media archiving and urban photography. She has produced a series of photographs that explore Human Trafficking in association with Red Light Campaign. In her photography, Sarah attempts to represent the unrepresented aspects of Human Trafficking in an accessible way. They have been exhibited at Parliament and will be shown in association with Rene Cassin this year. She is also working to set up an ethical fashion company, The House of Beth which sells preloved designer clothes and ethical fashion at affordable prices.
?!X: What’s the Future You Choose?
SRD: There would be affordable childcare subsidised by the government for working women, so women wouldn’t have to choose between having children and having a career. Companies that use natural resources in developing countries would not be allowed a presence unless they promoted a fair government in the countries they took from, which invested in education, hospitals and roads. Prostitution would no longer exist but certain drugs would be legalised and heavily taxed. There would be attractive and affordable housing in London and better transport in South London. All clothes would be ethically made.

In their communities they could talk about educating the rest of their community about the issue, holding stunts to educate the rest of the country, linking up with charities and creating fund-raising events.
