About this interview:

How can we heal the feminine in our world from the inside out?

In this episode Amisha shares an intimate moment with multidisciplinary creative and social entrepreneur  Mallence Bart-Williams. Mallence is responsible for bringing to the West an ancient rejuvenation, wellness and holistic beauty tool that was originally reserved only for Eastern royalty and their concubines.

Working in partnership with the royal family of a tiny hidden kingdom in the Asian archipelago, Mallence has preserved an ancient alchemical and biodynamic production process, enabling the Secret Ceres to be brought to women across the world, without losing its potency or damaging the fragile ecosystems from which it originates.

She tells of her first encounter with the product when it was brought to her by a friend, who had ventured deep into the jungle off beaten paths. She was so blown away that she set off on a quest to track down the people who made it and find out more. Now this product is saving women in the Western world from hysterectomy and vaginal infections whilst also transforming the health and vitality of their whole bodies.

Together Mallence and Amisha speak about how we engage with our wombs today. They go back to the monstrous origins of modern gynaecology and discuss the patriarchal attitudes and assumptions in medical science that harm our connection to our feminine centre. They speak of the intelligence of the womb and of the patterns and codes we inherit from our grandmothers.

She speaks about growing up as a woman of colour, with the legacy of African queens and German mass murderers running through her veins, about owning and integrating ancestral trauma and coming into right relation with the feminine inside and outside of ourselves.

“If every woman understood the value that she carries in her centre, every woman would be running around with bodyguards in this society” ~ Mallence Bart-Williams
