About this interview:

How can we reclaim and build the capacity for our inner wisdom in a world of distraction?

“We often have more power than we realise.” Louis Weinstock

In this episode, Amisha talks to Louis Weinstock, a Transpersonal Child Psychotherapist and Social Entrepreneur. He guides children and grown-ups through some of the toughest challenges life can throw at us – loss, trauma, divorce, burnout and breakdowns. He is also co-founder of ‘Apart of Me’, a multi-award-winning charity that helps young people transform their grief into compassion. He’s the author of ‘How The World Is Making Our Children Mad, And What To Do About It’, and his work has been featured on the BBC, ITV, and in The Guardian.

Louis unravels how our attention economy thrives on avoidance and distractions from what matters most, causing high levels of anxiety as we are increasingly unable to process information overload. He shares examples of how especially children are affected by issues arising from identity, social media, climate crisis and AI. He reveals how we can navigate this and support each other through hopelessness, grief and trauma. He sparks ideas on how we can grow our window of tolerance and fruitful engagement with our inner world, so that we may find our way back to our inner wisdom and authority.
