As promised we will be celebrating our future the night before the election with our friends at the City and Arts Music Project.
We will start at 5.30pm with drinks and an open photo shoot to be in our book (last chance, so come prepared) and then from 7pm we will delight you with news of the campaign, poetry performances from the competition, and the one off fashion creations from Ada Zanditon, Tara Startlet, Ciel, Junky Styling, Nancy Dee, Miksani and Traid Remade.
At 7.30pm we have a special treat for you in the form of live music from Delirium Tremens, a “Dark Indie/Folk Noir” band.
Alex from Standon Calling has called the sound “Gypsy Rose Lee meets David Bowie…and breaks his heart” and I must say, there’s a little PJ Harvey in there as well- all supported by some very deft drumming and some mellifluous riffs…
Delirium Tremens have played the Acoustic Festival of Great Britain, Hook Norton, Standon Calling and other festivals last year. They got Myspace unsigned Christmas number one for their first single and their second is due out in June, with a new video by an award winning director Tom Edmunds (their last went viral on YouTube). They just sold out Death Disco – and check out the interview on www.youlikewelike.com – the site’s most viewed page ever!
Then from 9PM:
Space is the Place will kick off with Live Jazz from The Bukky Leo Quartet w/ Bukky Leo (tenor sax/flute) + Sophie Allowa (drums) David Morris (guitar) + Jay Darwis (bass) You are welcome to stay and enjoy the music.
or you can head down to Deviation in the basement of The CAMP for £10 with DJS: Theo Parrish + Peanut Butter Wolf + Benji B + MC Judah
We have also all been offered a £5 guestlist for Musicalifragalistic at PUNK if that takes your fancy. Just say Think Act Vote on the door.
Look forward to seeing you on wednesday! Feel free to bring your friends.
