What a year! As we started 2010, Think Act Vote wasn’t even an idea. But then we got to work in February following a night of talking politics in the pub, and it was all fires a blazing right through to the end of the summer. It has been an incredible journey this year and we have many many highlights. Like the Think Act Vote Refashioned project, all our press coverage especially the Dazed & Confused interview, and taking part in festivals such as Vintage at Goodwood.
Of course the best bit has been finding out your thoughts on “The Future I Choose” and doing the Think Act Vote Photobooth.
We have been busy working away on our plans for 2011, and we have some exciting stuff that we are looking forward to sharing with you in the New Year.
In the meantime, we wanted to wish you the happiest Chirstmas and a wonderful new year.
We also just wanted to say thank you for all your support in making Think Act Vote happen this year, and for getting involved in what we have been doing. In particular to our friends; Mark and Tony from Komodo, to Becky and David from Given, to Rosie and the team at Foundation Agency, to all the Think Act Vote Refashioned Designers, to all the Think Act Vote T-shirt design competition Judges, to all the photographers, to Nozstock and Wayne and Louise at Vintage at Goodwood, and to our volunteers for all their hard work; Petronella, Shruti, Kav, Jesson, Laura, Alison, Alexis, Jo, Ravi, Selina, Alice, Lauren, Tuba, Emilia, Tom, John and Jessie.
And if you get a spare moment over the holidays, you can get involved with Think Act Vote in the following ways:
We are currently taking votes on what our logo should be for our future work, we have two in the running which are a remix from our winning t-shirt design by Jesson Yip.
Simply click on the image you prefer below, which will take you to facebook. Then just click ‘like’ on your the one you like and the one with the most likes wins. (You have to have already clicked like, on the main page to be able to vote on the photos)
And whilst you are doing some reflecting over the holidays, it might be the perfect time to share The Future That You Choose…
You can do this online here.
And if you want to stay in touch over twitter you can find us @thinkactvote.
Best Wishes,
Amisha and the Think Act Vote team
